Melody, 34, will perform with her professional skating partner Alexander Demetriou on Dancing On Ice for the first time this weekend.
Before her turn on the ITV series, the star has revealed she was left shocked after a fall in training.
“The worst for me is there’s a little bit part of the blade in the back of your skate that if you put your other slate on top of that and then move an inch, you will just fall out of nowhere,” she explained.
“It’s like getting shot. It’s crazy.”
Melody continued to tell The Sun: “I was trying to put one foot behind the other and I stepped on my blasé and went backwards flying but landed on my face.
“It was so intense. You immediately want to cry.
“It’s like when you’re a kid and you can’t help it.”
“I’ve fallen on my hips and things and the bruising is like ‘Wow, okay,’” she added.
But despite her shock fall, Melody insisted she isn’t focussing on the accident.
Instead she is staying positive about her first routine on Sunday night.
Meanwhile, Melody said she is most looking forward to the costumes for Dancing On Ice.
“Well, I love sparkles and sequins,” the Pussycat Dolls singer commented.
“I love vintage everything so if it looks like something that Marilyn Monroe would have wore then yeah, love it! I’m all over it.”
Talking about her biggest challenges and what performing on Dancing On Ice means to you.
“I’m very lucky because when I started with the Pussycat Dolls, I was not a dancer,” Melody explained.
“I was a singer, but I had to learn to dance.
“Then I got the role in The Bodyguard musical so I had to learn to act and all of my lines and sing 14 Whitney Houston songs!
“So, I’m lucky because I do get an extra push from the universe, so this is just a new challenge and this is a cool skill to have.”
Will Melody be able to impress both judges and viewers on Sunday night?
Dancing On Ice airs Sunday on ITV at 6pm.
