Game of Thrones will return next month, but until then fans have been sharing their theories about the eighth and final series, many of which centre around Bran Stark (played by Isaac Hempstead Wright).
The Three Eyed Raven is nothing short of incredible, considering he has the ability to travel back in time, sieve through the history of the universe and morph into other beings.
Needless to say, his traits are mysterious and powerful, which perhaps makes his storyline in season eight all the more interesting to discuss.
Funnily enough, this is exactly what fans of the HBO fantasy drama have been doing for years, with some trying to find clues as to what role he will play in the highly-anticipated finale series.
For sometime viewers have claimed Bran is, in fact, the Night King, and potentially travelled back in time to stop him, only to fail and become the leader of the White Walkers.
At one point in the show watchers began comparing the two, pointing out bizarre similarities between their clothes.
When the theory got so outrageous Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays Bran, addressed some of the hypothesis.
In an interview with Esquire in 2017 said the comparisons were crazy and hardly backed up their theories.
“I saw someone tweeting pictures of me and the Night King together and were like, ‘Yep. That’s him. Definitive proof!’
“I was like, ‘We don’t look that much alike’. I saw someone photoshop the Night King’s buckle onto Bran and say, ‘Yep it’s him!’”
He continued: “I think the cool thing now about this being the last season is that the theories that everyone has are going to tie up.
“If anyone has had any theory about any of the characters who are still alive will probably get answered now.
“I personally think the Night King theory is a bit far-fetched, but I would have said the same thing about the Hodor theory.”
However, he teased anything could happen, adding: “But this is Game of Thrones, and anything is possible.
“I’d love to be the Night King. That would be so fun to be like, ‘It was me all along.’ But I don’t know — I doubt it.”
Aside from theories about Bran, there has also been a lot of speculation about Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) potentially dying in season eight.
The newly released trailer hinted Arya is in a spot of trouble, as she is seen running away from an unknown person or persons, in what looks to be in Winterfell.
There are few things that would frighten her to the point where she has to flee, as she is now a formidable fighter.
Perhaps she is running from the Night King or the Faceless Men? Maybe it is a character from her past whom she thought she had killed? The possibilities are endless.
Game of Thrones season 8 premieres on April 14 on HBO and Sky Atlantic and on NOW TV on April 15.
