Excited to see her beau return home, Gemma shared an adorable video of the two of them with the caption: “Home tonight for the weekend! @gorka_marquez.”
With Gorka away, Gemma made the most of her time by having a little pamper.
The former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale actress revealed she was getting her hair coloured.
Gemma shared a video of herself with foils in her hair, for her blonde highlights, where she said she was “multitasking”.
Rocking Mia’s pram, Gemma said to the camera: “Multitasking getting my hair done, flawless, getting Mia to sleep.”
Yesterday, the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 star spoke on Gorka not having a celebrity partner on this year’s show.
She captioned a clip of the two of them together: “Sad to not be seeing Gorks partnered up and fighting it out for the Glitter Ball this year… ‘he’s my favourite’ (Apart from team AliG obviously).”
“Looking forward to watching the show though with all of the fab group numbers he’ll be in!”
Commenting on the positives of the situation, Gemma joked: “And at least now I only have to vote for Aljaz and not the both of them.”
Gorka shared a statement on his Instagram account earlier in the week where he revealed he “sadly” wouldn’t be dancing with a celebrity this time round.
Alongside a photo of himself, he said: “For everybody that’s been asking, I can let you know that this series, I sadly won’t be partnered with a celebrity for the main series of Strictly.
“However, I will still be heavily involved in all of the group numbers and all things Strictly!”
“I’m excited to see this year’s celebs and my fellow professionals dance for the Glitter Ball and I hope to be back fighting for it next year,” he continued. “As always, it’s gonna be a GREAT series.”
Gorka hinted he didn’t take the decision lightly as he made a dig at the show in the comment section.
One person quizzed the star: “Nooo… why? You are a brilliant dancer. I hope it’s your choice so you can spend more time with mum and baby.”
Gorka replied: “Not really LOL,” followed by a shoulder shrug emoji before adding: “But I will” in reference to spending time with his girlfriend Gemma Atkinson and their baby daughter, Mia.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One next month.
