Lucy Verasamy: ITV weather star laments ‘am I the only one not on holiday’ in leggy snap | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV


Lucy Verasamy, 39, shared a stunning photo to her Instagram yesterday of hers wearing a black top, matched with a monochrome skirt.

The ensemble allowed Lucy to put her lean legs on display, as she posed in the ITV studios.

The weather presenter held a mug in one hand, as she gave a little smile to the camera.

Despite the happy look on her face, Lucy didn’t seem too pleased about the fact she appeared to be the “only one” at work, and not on holiday.

She captioned the stunning snap: “Quiet corridors at work – am I the only one not on holiday?!” 

This Morning host, Eamonn Holmes, commented to remind her he is also hard at work.

He posted: “No, I’m here too! U and me both kid.”

While many of her other 106,000 fans shared compliments with one person writing: “Looking beautiful as ever Lucy.”

“Please don’t ever stop being a weather reporter you’re the best,” another gushed.

In her latest forecast, Lucy explained it will feel a little chilly in the morning but will soon warm up in the afternoon.

She told ITV viewers: “All change as we approach the end of the week, feeling like autumn in the mornings.

“But summer returns in the afternoon then come the weekend, hotting up, just in time for the bank holiday.”

Speaking about this morning, she spilled: “Mist of fog developing in the small hours, a bit of a murky start.”

Earlier in the week, Lucy couldn’t contain her excitement at this weekend’s bank holiday weather.

The star shared a funny picture to her Instagram stories, which showed four dogs wearing sunglasses.

Lucy told her followers not to “give up” on this year’s summer, as sh revealed there is more hot weather to go round.

She wrote on the snap: “Don’t give up on August just yet. Bank holiday BBQ?”

She also spoke about the bank holiday on her Twitter account, where she received a response from England cricketer, Kevin Pietersen.

The brunette beauty tweeted: “A bank holiday bonus!! Temperatures on the up.”

Kevin said to the star: “Good time to pop back into London…”
