The Voice UK 2019: ‘Tom stop!’ Sir Tom Jones MOCKS Olly Murs after shock choice | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

The Voice UK raged on this evening and continued the four judges’ search for 2019’s winner of the competition.

And it was certainly a heated evening as Olly Murs and Sir Tom Jones battled it out once again for a performer they were both interested in.

Connie Lamb, a 17-year-old performer, arrived to bring the house down with her rendition of Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper.”

And after Olly and Sir Tom were the only two judges to turn, the battle truly began.

While Sir Tom held a firm advantage with his incredible history in the music industry, Connie was also interested in Olly.

Connie claimed he has been on the same journey she is currently on, and went on to pick Olly’s team.

Afterwards it look liked Sir Tom was a little perturbed by losing out to Olly.

And Sir Tom went on to mock Olly’s voice as he said: “Yeah, I like her a lot!”

Sir Tom then mimicked the Essex boy, repeating: “I like it a lot!” in his best Essex accent.

A little shocked by the jibe, Olly asked: “That was an Essex accent?!”

Prompting Sir Tom to prod back: “Oh, how’s my accent?”

Even Jennifer Hudson wasn’t happy with it, as she whined: “Tom, stop!”

He later took yet another swipe at Olly after he was asked whether he had ever been to Essex.

To which he replied: “Yeah, I spent two weeks there one night.

“It felt like two weeks!”

However it looks like Will.i.am is the judge who ought to be worried.

Earlier on this week saw bookies comment on the judges’ rankings, of which Will’s odds on winning have been slashed to 7/2.

Harry Aitkenhead told Express.co.uk: “Jennifer was the winning manager back in 2017 and has a strong early hand with Nicole as part of her team.

“She’s got all the ingredients for another successful tilt at winning The Voice. Will.I.Am is our outsider of the four after a couple of lean years since his last win in 2014.”

The Voice UK 2019 continues Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
